old theme fragments after install a new one

i have a tiny (hopefully) problem...

 

i installed the presta alternative theme. i didn't like it so i changed to the standard theme again. all good so far, only the banner and those links in the header from the alternative theme were left behind.

i can't figure out how to get rid of this.

I think they were in separate module. Look into modules -> front office features, find the module and deactivate it.

Also you should check out the new default theme coming with the next version of prestashop http://www.prestasho...__fromsearch__1, maybe you'll like it more

Deactivate the v2-blockcategoriestop module (or even delete it from files if you wont use it)

nop, i need that category block. i talk about the hyperlinks in the header, which is pushing everything else down http://booking.superbike-coach.com/index.php (3 in the middle, and the rest to the right)

got it. it was the Categories block (top) v1.0

so you were basically right
