Mike Kranzler
Hi dammionx, I'm a little confused as to what you're looking for exactly. Could you try to be a little more descriptive of what you're looking for and why? -Mike

Mike Kranzler
Hi dammion, I'm still not sure what you're looking for exactly, maybe there is something lost in translation. Is there any other information you could provide that may help me understand what you're asking? -Mike
dammionx
sorry for my bad english... see my image attachment below... let me introduce the condition first.. the image 1 below = Skateboard Category the image 2 below = Trucks Category A = Image 1 heigth so what i am trying to do is how to make the product image size (height) of Truck Category to be different from Skateboard category, Lets say i wanted to change Trucks Category product images height to B cause what my problem is.. when you mouse over the image, the image spot size equal to the skateboard category, so zooming will zoom to the whites too... thanks before
Mike Kranzler
Ahhh I think I see. Rather than MagicZoom, have you tried enabling JqZoom in your Back Office? -Mike

Mike Kranzler
Hi dammion, Please try disabling MagicZoom and using JqZoom instead, and let me know if that works for you. -Mike
dammionx
where i can get JqZoom??? can you give me the links??
Mike Kranzler
Hi dammion, You should have JqZoom already in your Back Office. You can find it under Preferences > Products, and then select "Enable JqZoom instead of Thickbox on Product Page." -Mike
dammionx
okay I will try, but what is the difference of magic zoom and JqZoom??
Mike Kranzler
okay I will try, but what is the difference of magic zoom and JqZoom?? Magic Zoom isn't a native PrestaShop product and is not developed by us, which means we cannot offer any guarantee as to its functionality. JqZoom, on the other hand, was developed in-house and is fully supported by our development team. -Mike
Mike Kranzler
Additionally, Magic Zoom appears to only be compatible up to version 1.3. What version are you running? -Mike

Mike Kranzler
okay, I've replaced it, but why do my images become scaled to 300X300.. how to change it?? 300x300 is the default size for Product Images. You can edit this in the back office under Preferences > Image -Mike

Mike Kranzler
Hi dammion, It looks like you changed the wrong file, because the product image is still the exact same but now the zoom is broken. Which one did you change exactly? -Mike
dammionx
i dont know.. can you check it for me???? i've changed many files.. and i forget which files that i've change.. maybe product.tpl???
Mike Kranzler
Hi dammion, In order for me to take a look at these, it's important that I know what you changed first. Additionally, I'm a little confused because my suggestion was to change the images through the back office initially, not in the files themselves. -Mike
dammionx
i've done with the image size.. but know the problem is about the zoom.. do you think any file that affect this function?
Mike Kranzler
Hi dammion, The product image itself is looking better now. As for the JqZoom, please try to make the edits to your jquery.jqzoom.js file to try to create a custom size and let me know if that works for you. -Mike

Mike Kranzler
so i must edit the value to ?? It depends on what you're looking for with JqZoom. As I understand it, you have an issue with the size of the zoomed-in image. If this is not the case, please let me know what you're actually looking for with all of this. I will say that on my end its looking MUCH better now, so let me know if there are still more improvements you would like to make. -Mike
