kingkongballs
just got off the phone with a client who wants his site to have an add to cart feature but with no prices. basically, they go through the site, add items to cart, 'checkout' and then he generates an invoice and they pay via cheque or cod. technically, all they're doing online is placing an order without any cash transaction. the main thing is that when the invoice is generated, it doesn't display a price at all. if all the items are set to 0.00, when the invoice is generated and has a 0.00 total, it may confuse customers who think they have got their entire order free. if this can't be done, can anyone suggest a sensible work around? i'm going to play around with the BO and see what i can find, hopefully without screwing everything up in the process
shacker
yes, you can put the prices in the product to 0, and add to cart. in our site we have free products. You can delete the prices if you dont need editing the tpl files of your theme
