palmtree Posted October 1, 2011 Share Posted October 1, 2011 I just received a payment for a client located in Japan with no shipping charges applied. The client made a successful transaction. Furthermore, from the BO I can see that the customer had the Europe Zone has a shipping region when he should have had Rest of the world. Transactions with Japan and other far countries have been done before, but I never had this strange problem. I just made a simulation online myself and I get charged with the right shipping zone and amount. What could have gone wrong ? I also don't know how to solve this now. Any help will be great. Since this I've made several trials and inputed the adress as my customer did, it looked that when a customer messes up with the registration ie : goes to fast, puts some strange infos in the adress and eventually does not chose the country in the country list ( a total mess difficult to explain clearly here :-( ) , something strange happens : when the registration button is clicked at the end, the page does not go to the next step, but just keep going on loading and loading and loading.... So at this step, I refreshed to reload and Bingo ! my purchase was accepted without shipping. I dont' put this topic solved ...it is not. On the other hand, on customer side, I found my way into refunding the payment via BO / order /Paypal refund and everything was ok ( I lost money with the Paypal commission though :-( ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
