vk_thor
First I would like to say that I have been very unlucky with the forum, contact, and support of prestashop I am hopping that someone has an answer out there for this: Fedex no longer uses API as of january 2011 and do not provide meter # since they will face them out as of 2012. so the module of the last release in July/August is already out of date and cannot be used. They suggested to contact the 3rd party solution PS to request a way to use their web solution which is the only one that they support. How does one gets an answer to this? tomerg3
Where have you seen that Fedex is no longer giving meter number or are planning to phase out their rate API?
devilsown
there are 2 api that fedex uses. They are passing out there old api very shortly. Your modual does work on the new api i believe. It does not need a meter number to work. I know with the old modual i belive in jan of this year they didn't allow anyone to even get a meter number for it. this was one of the main reason i moved away from oscommerce as there is nothing in the works and fedex and ups are both turnning off the old api soon. vk_thor
I contact the Fedex tech support and that is the information they gave me. " If you do not have an api assign prior to january 2011 we can't provide you with one because we want everyone to go to the web solution, same with meter # since we will no longer support it after january 2012" If you go to the free application and click on the link of the installation to get the API you will end up at a page inside fedex that states the page is no longer available. Can you provide the link to the new module?
tomerg3
I think you are confusing their "Ship Manager API" with the rest of their APIs. Can you provide a link to a page with this info?
vk_thor
Thanks for your fast reply, Idiot me deleted the module and cant find the source where I downloaded it from. Well I guess I am going to have to use some weird rule from the standard shipping module that I am struggling to understand I cant even find the usps one that I deleted too, that is what happens when I dont pay attention to what I am doing. vk_thor
So I created the carriers for different forms of shipment manually and setting them by weight adding the parameters for weights ranges and after following different attempts of saving and changing to price range and setting price ranges still get this error: There are no carriers available that deliver to this address. also went thru this treads and it seams that what ever the solutions were for others don't work for me my version is 1.4.3 http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/8208-there-is-no-carrier-available-that-will-deliver-to-this-address/ http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/65096-solved-there-are-no-carriers-available-that-will-deliver-to-this-address/ Should I start a new tread? Izzyflex
I think you are confusing their "Ship Manager API" with the rest of their APIs. Can you provide a link to a page with this info? I am also confused by this, If we arent supposed to use their "Ship Manager API", could someone kindly point out the correct solution?
