spirals
Hi All, If you could please take a look at www.plumberlink.com.au and notice that the big yellow advertisement and the 4 featured products don't align to the same right hand as the end of the search bar and the yellow log in link at the top. I've been scratching my head and altering margins and alignments for days trying to figure out literally just how to shift those 2 modules further to the right. I hope this is something rather easy that someone can help me with. Would really appreciate it!! Thanks Duncan
Dave L
Hi Duncan, Just had a quick look using Firebug in Firefox, changing your image size very slightly from 610 wide to 635 brings the alignment pretty close.
spirals
thanks mate - i did get your email but was busy on some other urgent jobs and then i played around with that site heaps - removing the right column (although it wasn't visible) altogether, adjusting some of the margins and alignments of the centre images, adjusting margins of the featured products, and moving the phone number to the left slightly.. a lot of excess work but it's almost there! cheers for the heads up on the dimension too - i should really start trying out the firebug! speak soon mate and thanks again.. Dave L
No problems Duncan. The Firebug is a really useful, quick and easy to use tool for trouble shooting your site. You can actually change values with it to see what effect it has. As soon as you refresh the page the site reverts back again. Cheers.
dazzza
Edit the picture right margin to 20px at the moment it's auto. <img width="610" height="220" alt="" src="http://www.plumberlink.com.au/img/cms/yellowanimationSEPTEMBERNEWEST.gif" style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"> So it reads <img width="610" height="220" alt="" src="http://www.plumberlink.com.au/img/cms/yellowanimationSEPTEMBERNEWEST.gif" style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: 20px;">
