[SOLVED] States wrong on invoice

Recommended Posts

Since upgrading to prestashop 1.4.4.1 the states are showing up wrong on my invoices and causing order failures. Kind of sad as the update said it was flawless but now I am seeing it didn't work

The address on this invoice should be the following

Chad Hegel

1514 N 13th St

Bismarck, ND 58501

United States

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Mike,

It is doing like I have seen in other posts. It is pulling the 1st 2 letters so Minnesota is MI and North Dakota is NO, Colorado is CO which is actually correct but 1st 2 letters of Colorado are same as state code.

It really stinks because the issue just started after upgrading to 1.4.4.1, it all worked fine in 1.4.4.0

I have also been getting these errors maybe its related, these are also only new since the upgrade

PayPal response:

TIMESTAMP -> 2011-09-25T01:27:58Z

L_ERRORCODE0 -> 10736

L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Shipping Address Invalid City State Postal Code

L_LONGMESSAGE0 -> A match of the Shipping Address City, State, and Postal Code failed.

L_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error

In light of what you discussed above, is there anything I should do to resolve this issue? I had an order not come through because of this:

PayPal response:

TIMESTAMP -> 2011-09-27T05:04:13Z

L_ERRORCODE0 -> 10736

L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Shipping Address Invalid City State Postal Code

L_LONGMESSAGE0 -> A match of the Shipping Address City, State, and Postal Code failed.

L_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error

Is it related to the problem you address here and if so what do I do to fix it? Is there something I need to update in /classes/PDF.php?

Thanks.

Thank you. I think it worked. :)

I am not sure if you know what department I should ask this in, but so far I have had no response: how do I add a seperate address option ni my cart, like a billing and then a shipping address in case the order is a gift?

Mike Kranzler,

Thanks for your reply. I don't see that checkbox anywhere either in the cart/checkout process OR in the back office. What is going wrong with that?

Also, I am continuing to have problems with my Paypal module. This is the report my customer and I receive:

  1. PayPal response:
  2. TIMESTAMP -> 2011-09-27T20:50:51Z
  3. L_ERRORCODE0 -> 10736
  4. L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Shipping Address Invalid City State Postal Code
  5. L_LONGMESSAGE0 -> A match of the Shipping Address City, State, and Postal Code failed.
  6. L_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error

Is this because the customer's state isn't right? He said he also had a "invalid token" message when he went back from paypal to the cart to retry. What does that mean?
Also is there a way to make the cart "reset" or to edit the address once it has been typed in and pressed "continue" in the process? Because for me, it keeps my address in the browser and I can't edit it even when I reopen the browser etc. Is that a cookie setting or something?
I appreciate your time.

Can you please post your URL so that I can check this out for you?

As for your PayPal question, please post this in a separate thread per PrestaShop policy.

Hi krbrmin,

I just finished going over this with a developer, and as you can see in your bug report, separate addresses are not permitted with guest checkout. If your customer creates an account, then they can very easily do this, but not unregistered guests.

We have made an addition to the wording in our upcoming release to hopefully minimize this sort of confusion going forward.

I hope this helps.
