There is 1 error :lastname is required Prestashop

I am new on PrestaShop my presta website was working fine suddenly stop working to register new customer I have been reading and post to forum non of them help me. My website is www.investide.co.za I get problem when I register new customer I get the following Error "There is 1 error :lastname is required. but I have filed everything. I tried to enable Instant Checkout without registration also is doing the same thing with another error

    There are 2 errors :

    1. You must register at least one phone number
    2. phone is required.

Go to

 

BO->Shipping->Countries

 

Find your default country set below it and edit it ...

 

See the address layout, it should now be empty or else the lastname should be in it...

 

Otherwise, press "Use default layout"

 

After that retry registration....it should be working now...!

Hi,

I already know this post is quite old, but in case anyone still has the issue I'd like to say I solved it in Preferences > countries > (your country) and there you got to push the 'use default format', and then 'save' button. (Or similar, because my menu is written in Spanish, hehe).

 

Of course, be sure you clean smarty cache from the back office.

 

You will loose your old address configuration, but you will let your customers create an account.
