summer Posted February 19, 2009 Share Posted February 19, 2009 My site loads very slowly because there is thousands files in "compile" folder, it has something to do with the folder file permission. So what is The correct file permission for "compile" folder any way? PrestaShop folders have ‘write’ permissions (also known as “CHMOD 777” – explanation of file permissions here) but do not apply these permissions recursively (to their subfolders): /config, /upload, /download, /tools/smarty/compile. Did that, maybe I did it wrong, what is exactly the meaning of "do not apply these permissions recursively"?Can I erase those files?in 2008 I erase those file and my site got wracked.I start all over again.And I have this issue again today..These are the file names:wrt1.tmpwrt100.tmpwrt1000.tmpwrt1003.tmpwrt1008.tmpwrt1009.tmpwrt100A.tmpwrt100B.tmp wrt100D.tmp and thousands moreWhat are they?
