impossible to log BO after asking new password

hi
i have a site under 1.0 version (august 08)
i forgot the password of my admin account. So i asked a new one with the link on the idntification panel.
i received a new one by mail.
I tried to connect but in vain, i am always pushed to the blank idntification windows even if i tip the right codes

Then read post encouraging to
1) copy the cookie key from settings.inc
2) add new password concatenated to the cookie key and then create a new string with
D5 (http://www.md5.cz)
3) change the password in the employee table pasting this new string
it's what i did, but unfortunately i can't log to my site !it's always the same ring....i'm depressed
I really need to acess my BO, could somebody help me to get trough this problem ?

Hi i do not have found any solution, so i am unable to connect my site to modify it !!
Could it be successful to upgrade to the last version, could it resolve my trouble, and how to proceed to be sure it will not renforce the problem ?

What is the url of your site please?

I have just developed the same problem in one of my sites, but only using IE, Firefox is fine and works normally.

i tested thye point with Firefox and i encounter the same trouble.
But you underline the point, in fact the trick is that when i use different url in one case it works and in another it fails : i mean, the adress i used when i install my prestashop was http://90plan.ovh.net/~XXX/shop/ this url was given by OVH saying it works immediately as the http://www.XXXX.com/shop would need a little more time to be on.
When i type this adress http://www.XXXX.com/shop the site appears like without any CSS and can't show the picture and it is also impossible to connect, when i use the other (http://90plan.ovh.net/~XXX/shop/) all works perfectly well.
Why i don't know, i have to ask to OVH if the two adress point to the same space...
