[edit] Free Shipping config- for 1 carrier, over 49$

This might be a newbie question, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to do it. I am trying to set up free shipping, but I don't want it across the board. I would like to limit it to a single carrier->carrier choice (ie... UPS Ground). Also I need to specify that shipping is only free over 49$. All other shipping should be charged normally.

 

Does anyone know how to set this up?

On the Shipping > Carried tab edit UPS Ground and set the Apply shipping cost: value to No.

Hi Oxyweb. That does help, but I should have also mentioned that free shipping will only be offered for purchases 50$ and over.

Ah I see. So this will be a little more fiddly but re-enable the shipping tax if you haven't already.

Then go to Shipping > Price Ranges and then add 2 new price ranges.

 

1. Carrier: UPS Ground From: 0 To: 49.99

2. Carrier: UPS Ground From 50 To: 99999

 

 

Then...

 

Click on the Shipping tab and at the bottom of the page under "Fees" choose UPS Ground, you'll now see two columns and many rows depending on which zones you ship to. In the $0.49.99 set the value to be $7 or whatever your shipping cost is for <$50 orders is and then for the $50 to $99999 field set it to 0.

 

That should now give you free delivery on orders over $50 (to $99999).
