Kintaro
Does any one know or have managed to disable the shopping cart for a catalog? The reason for this is a step wise approach to starting a web-shop but also the possibility to have different catalogs with different features, i.e. for one product are make it possible to order on line, and for another require contact with the customer before order. Any one know how to disable the shopping cart in the prestashop set-up? I only want to remove the shopping cart possibility, and still show the prices. Kay van Aarssen
Just Remove the payment gateways? (disable)
Kintaro
I did not try to disable or remove the payment gateways, but ... It was really easy actually. In the new installation, since last time I tried out PrestaShop, there is a tickbox in the installation process where one can select the shoping cart to be deactivated. The cart can be enabled later on. Really neat!
Kintaro
There seem to be a continuation... If the shopping cart is disabled via ticking the Catalog mode in Preferences > Products the price is still not shown which is important. Any one know a way of disabling the shopping cart and still show the prices? It does not work by disabling/deinstalling the payment gateways. El Patron
Have you tried just disabling the Cart module from the back office?
killvaP
You mean Back office > Preferences > Producet > Catalog mode > YES ?
