I've got several other issues too which I shall post separately and in more detail about perhaps they might give you a clue as to what's wrong!! Here are the subject headings: SSL keeps turning itself off Shipping charges weren't adding to cart, put on Force Compile now working fine - why?! On upgrade to 1.4.4.1 products were showing in one column. Turned out to be a CSS problem so that is now set as "original" There was another problem where products were just appearing momentarily then disappearing and I had to turn off the Cache FS. Mike Kranzler Posted September 27, 2011 Share Posted September 27, 2011 To be honest, I was thinking more along the lines of a poltergeist rather than gremlins. Gizmo would never do this, unless you got your website wet . With this much going on, it might be hard for us to diagnose exactly what is happening. My suggestion is to do a clean reinstall and see if the issues persist. I'd just created two new products and was testing them by trying to buy them, I added to cart and the shipping stayed at 0. I had this yesterday and sat for about 2 hours trying to solve it. Thought I had! Aarrrghhhh Warning: file_put_contents(/var/www/vhosts/selleriestpierre.com/httpdocs/modules/authorizeaim/config.xml) [function.file-put-contents]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /var/www/vhosts/selleriestpierre.com/httpdocs/classes/Module.php on line 1074 There are loads of these ! For all the different modules I guess! By the way a few of the problems I've had were experienced by others so perhaps it's not completly my install!! What issues do you still have once you've disabled CacheFS? marronne Posted September 27, 2011 Author Share Posted September 27, 2011 Hi Mike The one problem I seem to have now is that shipping is not being added automatically to the cart. A couple of posts back in this topic I posted an error message that occurs about module.php. I've created 2 new products - both in "natural horsemanship" category - one is rope neck collar and the other is the lunge rope (7m). When either of these is added to the basket the shipping is not automatically calculated. All other products work fine. I overcame this problem yesterday with Force Compile set to on - but now that doesn't seem to work today. Think I'm going slightly mad here ........... ~! I just tested it a second time, this time in Chrome, Firefox and IE9. In all three, shipping applied automatically at €8.13. The lunge line now shows the shipping but the other new product I added doesn't. Same category "natural horsemanship" but it's the last product - rope neck strap.
