I found that the site is reading the (v1.1) logo and the favicon.ico from /img/favicon.ico directory, not the theme whether that is intended or not, I dont know but this is the default behaviour. Try clearing your cache and try in a different browser usually it can take 15-20 mins to kick in m8. microswiftsoft Posted May 28, 2015 Share Posted May 28, 2015 Hi Guys , Its Very Easy. Pretashop accept ICO file for the icon. If you try PNG , Jpeg favicon image, it will not accept. so you need to convert your Image to ICO and than either upload through pretashop or replace the image from the directory. abooBala Posted February 17, 2020 Share Posted February 17, 2020 To start with, - Generate your Favicon from the Prestashop admin dashboard - From your hosting account, navigate to /themes/prestashop/img/favicon.ico - Rename the default image that was labelled favicon.icon (any other name will do) - Name your own favicon as favicon.icon and upload it to the same directory (/themes/prestashop/img/favicon.ico) - Clear your browser cache and reload your site again (you may use the incognito mode of your browser) - Your favicon should display now 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
