Elle_Elle
Hi Everyone, I would like to find out from those that use Prestashop already on how Prestashop works for drop shipping. I currently have Zen Cart and am trying to start my store on it. I will be using 3 drop shippers (2 for now). I am in the process of trying to add products. However, the module I am using is a bit picky on what I can and cannot import from my vendor files, and I will need a pricy add-on for Zen Cart to be able to allow me to use multiple vendors, so I came to see what you all thought about Prestashop and to see if it has what I need, which is: - Ability to use multiple vendors with different shipping origins (New York, California, Canada) without having to purchase a module for it. - Ability to import products from vendor files easily. My problem right now is one vendor has 4 files with all the information I need in different files, so I have to manually manipulate data of hundreds of products to make the file compatible with the module. It is a ton of copying and pasting, and even more manually entering hundreds of numbers for weights and pricing, which brings me to my next question. -I sell event favors and each item has a pricing tier. For example, there is a base price for buying a single item, 1-11 items will cost XXX each, 11-20 items cost XXX each, and 20+ or whatever cost XXX. Can Prestashop import this information from my vendor files or do I have to manually enter this one by one in the admin panel? - Also, many of my products have options and personalization (color, fonts, labels, etc). Can this be imported as well from a file or does this also have to be manually entered one by one? I would really appreciate it if you all can give me some insight into this as I really would see what Prestashop has to offer. Thank you, Lee

El Patron
http://www.wholesale-dropship-source.com/2010/08/presta-shop-dropship/ http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/90360-module-supplier-email-alerts-drop-shipping/ http://addons.prestashop.com/en/shipping-logistics/2102-supplier-email-alerts.html and probably more. see if any of these meet your needs, but also learn a little about prestashop before you buy or develop anything to see if the existing functionality gets you most of the way there...then you know what you will be needing and can choose where to go from there. justdogwalking.com
Hi There are a number of posts about poor dropship capabilities for Prestashop. I use drop shipping though not importing products from suppliers. I have had a bespoke shipping module written for me to enable multiple suppliers each with their own shipping tariffs does not do all you are looking for but why not contact the developers egrove systems http://www.egrovesys.com/ I know they are upgrading it for ps1.4x and can no doubt add your needs as well. I found them good value for money. If you want to know more let me know.
justdogwalking.com
Hi The only working module I am aware of is this one http://www.modulebazaar.com/en/shipping-logistics/147-dropshipper-module-for-prestashop.html I use a bespoke version of it for my dropshipping website and it works very well Multiple suppliers, Each with own shipping tariffs mail and /or courier Email orders to suppliers - copy to you - can turn on or off for each supplier. Can also do remote post/zip code supplements each supplier Does not link to stock updating/syncronising. It is a paid for module - but for me well worth the money as I would not be able to drop ship without it. Hope this helps
