Google analytics Tracker - mixed up information

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone I purchased the Googleanalytics Direct module from prestashop adons and have installed it. The hope is that it is better than the version that comes with prestashop as that version was not recording sales paid for by credit card through paypal direct.

I have installed the paid for version as its surpose to record all sales even when the customer does not go back to the order-comfirmation page which would solve my problem.

Anyway I have installed the paid for version and it is indeed pulling in all the credit card sales from the past. My problem is I installed the new module yesturday and straight away when I go to ecommerce in analytics its showing all the sales from the last year as being taken on the 17/09/2011.

Is this normal at first until its recorded all sales and then im hoping it will just bring in all the sales on the correct days as they come in.

The other problem I have is the information is not correct. For example

I go to google analytics and click on ecommerce, i then select transactions and it shows me all the transactions and even the transaction id.

Tranaction 648 shows that the revenue is £85.61 which is correct. I then click on this transaction id 648 in analytics to see further information.

Its then shows the product as Thuja orientalis 'Rosedalis' product revenue £8.97 which is sort of correct. Basicaly this is one of ten products that was ordered on tranaction 648 for a total of 85.61. Anyone no of any reason why it does show all the products purchased for that transaction.

The other thing is when you click to see what keyword brough them to the site it says Onion Sets which is Know is incorrect as they searched conifers, also the incoming link is incorrect as well.

Now it seems analytics is mixing all the data up.

Anyone experced these problems and no what is happening and how to sort it.

I keep things it might fix its self once its logged all the sales up to the current date.

Regards John
