Free Shipping Question

Hello,

 

I deliver to 3 zones - UK, Europe and USA. I've set these up with prices and weights, no problem.

 

I want free shipping for orders over £75.00 in the UK but NOT Europe or the USA. However, when I enter 'free shipping starts at £75.00' it applies across the Europe and USA zones too despite me loading the UK zone in the fees by carrier section at the bottom.

 

Has anyone been able to apply free shipping to one zone and not another, if you have please let me know how you did it! Otherwise I'm going to have to drop shipping to Europe and the USA which is not ideal.

Well it looks like you can't have free shipping in one zone and not in another zone. It has to be all or none. So I've had to disable shipping to the rest of the world to continue allowing free shipping to my UK customers. Which will result in a loss of business which is very disappointing. I've considered dropping free shipping altogether so I can keep shipping to the rest of the world but think that will lose even more business in the UK as my competitiors offer free shipping.

Hey, would you mind try this out? I have already set up my shipping chart but I don't know whether it is working because I do not have non US address. And I think somehow my site is buggy (when I select US as default address, I get US shipping rate. Then after I switch the country to non US, I still get US rate...)

 

Anyways. See if the following suggestions will help:

I set "0" to "free shipping starts at" so it is disabled.

I have US and non US zone. I did my shipping rate thought "Price Range" so anything over $200 for US is free shipping. I set a price for $200 worth product shipping rate for non US zone.

 

So from your description, it seems like you just need to disable the "free shipping starts at" (set it to 0) that should do the trick hopefully.
