littlebigman
HelloThe install is stuck at Step 2 because sitemap.xml apparently has the wrong permissions:sitemap.xml -rw-r--r-- 1 root www 0 1 déc 16:38 sitemap.xmlThe wiki doesn't mention this file. Should I chmod it 777?BTW, why does PrestaShop require chmod 777? Isn't it a potential safety issue? Why not set file ownership to the UID used by Apache?Thank you. prestabase
littlebigman,The sitemap.xml file has rw- r-- r-- (644) permissions on our demo install, and didn't cause any issues during install. Maybe trying changing them to 777 so you can complete install, then change back to 644?
littlebigman
Thanks for the tip. I ended up CHMODing 777 and was able to successfully install PrestShop.
Chrissy Poo
I have tried 644 and 777 but the setup is still saying there is a problem? Anyone have any ideas?
devo
I tried to change 644 to 666 and I was able to successfully install PrestShop. Is 777 important for anything other?
