BillyHardcore
Hi, Using ps 1.3.7 I recently tried adding a new tab in the BO panel. Which seemed to work just fine. An hour later, I log in again, only to find lots of stuff missing. I rush to check the DB, which still has all data. I manually removed the tabs physically on the server, and in the database, but still no luck. Anyone with ideas? :-)
Mike Kranzler
Hi Billy, After making your changes, did you clear your cache and regenerate htaccess? -Mike
BillyHardcore
Hi, I've tried clearing the compile folder in smarty, but regenerating .htaccess has never even crossed my mind. Could you perhaps elaborate? Regards, Billy
BillyHardcore
I found out that Prestashop is trying to load the jquery datepicker module, which is named after its language (ui-datepicker-en or ui-datepicker-de) It only wants to load ui-datepicker- which tells me that I have an issue with incorrect language assignment. after fiddling around the db, all language fields are gone. for instance prefix_configuration_lang is empty, etc.. I've manually added the danish language into prefix_lang But to manually update all the missing fields seems burdensome, perhaps there is another way?? Mike Kranzler
Hi Billy, In your Back Office, go to Tools > Generators and click "Generate htaccess file." Let me know if that works for you. -Mike
BillyHardcore
Hello again, After manually adding the Generator tab from mysql interface, I generated a new .htaccess in the root location, without any luck I'm afraid. What's more, I think my entire translation part of the DB somehow got deleted, Categories have no name or description, and none of the tables/fields in the DB have the Translation/Language ID set anymore.
