Help needed configuring a number of selected products per page?

Hi,

 

i need abit of help configuring products for my web page, i am trying to select a few products for each page for my site so it can fit in to the page correctly.

 

where can i configure it in PrestaShop so i can only display a curtain number of products per page?

It will affect the whole site but there is an option in Preferences > Products called "Products per page:"

but there is a problem, it says "Products displayed per page. Default is 10.", i can't change the default number. Is there a way to change this default number so i can display less or more products on my site pages?

 

i'm using version 1.2.

Ah k. Sorry never used 1.2. The value could be in the prestashop database or in any of the files. Hopefully a 1.2 user will respond.

yes, i thought it would be in one of the files, i don't know weather i have to change a line of code or change the default number to what ever number i want. i can't seem to find that file to change the line of code. any idea?

ummm it could be productlist.tpl (maybe) look for something like 1,10... maybe.
