urbanlord
Hi I'm new to Prestashop. I'm having issue with slow page load (6-10sec). My shop is not fully open yet as I'm waiting for my first stock to arrive (10 days). I would like to improve page load before I'm fully open. Are there any tweaks that are recommended? Carl Favre
Hi urbanlord, First, check that in preferences>performances force compilation is set to "no" and cache to "yes". You can also use CCC to speed up your page loading time. Does it improve your loading time?
urbanlord
Force compile was no and cache was yes. I used the CCC and the site loads up nicely now. Thanks for the very quick response!!
Carl Favre
Great ! If your problem is solved, could you add [solved] in your title? To do so, edit your first message and use the full editor. Thanks .
AITOC
Hi everyone, please take a look at http://addons.prestashop.com/en/administration-tools/4633-Performance-Booster.html This module fully caches the pages and, without initializing PrestaShop, provides your visitors with ready output that takes significantly less time to load.
