Webservice

I am trying to make webservice work so that I can show products of the shop to another website. (if I understood I can only do that through webservice right? or am I wrong?)

 

I followed instructions I found on the documentation of prestashop but my problem is that when I do the below

 

To test if you have properly configured your access to the web service, go to the page http://my [email protected]/api/ where "My passkey" is replaced by your key

 

and

 

Another method is to go directly to the following page:

http://mystore.com/api/

The site should prompt you for a username and a password to enter. The ID is the authentication key and there is no password.

 

it will not accept the password e.g. the key I got generated from the webservice I created.

 

What am I doing wrong?

Can someone help me on this? I keep trying and searching for a solution but still can't make it work...

I cannot replicate the problem. What is the nature of the failure? Is it just asking the password again? Make sure you are entering the API key to username section and leaving password blank. Also try with another API key

I'm having the same problem, and i've been trying to generate many key, still the same result, it always asking the password again and again.
