I don't think is a cookie problem, as I mentionned, I don't have issue with previous downloaded scripts.
I did installed PS on over 10 differents servers without any glitch ( previoustly downloaded )...

I already mentionned that I did change the passwd/login through phpmyadmin and still cannot log into the BO...
Why should I copy setting file from another copy? It a vanila fresh install and its my first login after the install? And I said, it usually works like a charm but not now...

Ok, got it and thanks cronos when you were talking about the setting file:

I did create un sub-folder for the install with a space in the folder name ( eg.: /PS 1.0 ) and curioustlu PS replace the the space by some special char so due to this wrong path...

If your guys experimented this same issue, simply replace the path in the setting.inc.php the space by a real space...

Hi PrestaNOC,

It happens when you change your password through PHPMyAdmin, MD5 encryption.

Sometimes, developers copy an old settings.inc.php to avoid re-typing especially on localhosts.

In the process, the CookieKey and CookieIV gets changed.

I am still very curious about the encryption part of the story.

Cheers..

About the copy of the setting file, no as I always do a fresh install directly on our servers to test out if it support script requirement before putting in production ( 'cause our primary business are hosting/dedicated servers )...

Regarding the encryption, I do verify under phpmyadmin and use this tool to reset the password...

Good to know that PrestaNOC.

It happened to quite a lot of developers, so, I was hinting the probability of it happening.

Cheers..

You are right, and I second that option, thanks again hiting me about the setting file, whithout that I will probability not take care about the path there... ;)

BTW, I love the way you set template...
