colorsofwind
I got the following bugs/problems on my website: 1. Refund: Can not refund shipping 2. Can not refund to paypal automatically before order status change to 'payment accepted', that means in this case, I can reinject the products successfully but have to login to paypal to do refund manully 3. discount can not be deducted from refund 4. can not do partial refund 5. If any discount applies to an order, during the stand pyaypal check out, the order summary - the items in the cart, is not showed in the paypal invoice, only a total amount is showed. I have been looking for solution to these problem for several days, searched anywhere, but no result. I wonder how you guys do the following: 1. Discount should be deducted from refund say someone buy a product $60 and applies a coupon like 20% off, or $5 off $50, or $5 off a specific product, upon refund, the discount will be deducted from the refund, so if he use 20%off, then $48 is to be refund, etc. I think it is not difficult to apply such a scenario that: 1). every product in an order has a final purchase price after all discount 2). The order detail shows the final purchase price instead of list price 3). Total discount such as those '$5 off $50 accessories' will apply prorated discount to qualifying products so that every order will only show discount for each qualifying products instead of showing a total discount. This will also resolve the problem of 'not showing order summary in paypal checkout page if discount applies' since paypal do not allow total price of products is different from total charge (since a total discount is applies) It is really weird that prestashop team knows paypal's scenario but still follow its own way! 2. partial refund here I do not mean only refund products or shipping, but I mean, if a customer return a product that is used, I will need issue partial refund such as half of the purchase price. I really do not understand why prestashop does not allow some customized refund amount? I think it is a basic functionality for any shop. I wonder how other shop owners do these refund? Any available modules you bought that can do these? I actually you do not do these in prestashop but do it manually in paypal website (then that is too bad if your shop grows big)?? Prestashop is not friendly to customers at all - the refund functionality is soooo buggy, or toooo friendly to customers - customers always get full refund for products! I don't understand how a successful ecommerce CMS can have such bad refund function? Is prestashop going to improve it very soon? If not, I would like to pay someone who can do it.
