Chaney
I am experiencing an https error that I just can't figure out. I've tried the fix on the forum changing the cms link php file and made sure my links were disabled pointing to unsecured content to no avail. Help?? phrasespot
Here is what happens. All the content required by the checkout page is served over https. But if the favicon is not cached by the browser (and in your case it is not. This may be due to a icon format problem, e.g. Firefox does not display it), then when the checkout page is requested, the browser again attempts to load the favicon, making a request to root of the domain over http (see here for browser implementation and look up priority). This is what is causing mixed content warning. Make sure you do have a correct favicon in your root so it is cached by the browser before someone proceeds to https sections.
