Do we have any payment module works only with credit card?

I want a payment module that requires only credit card to make payment when checkout.

Do we have this type of payment module in prestashop backoffice?

You should take a look at Addons, there are many modules about credit card payment.

A basic offline credit card module - for processing cards through a merchant terminal 'in-house' should not be an add-on. This is the way most existing businesses function. They neither need nor want to sign up to an online payment processor - as they have an existing merchant agreement with their bank.

 

The lack of this 'basic' facility -- which a lot of other shopping carts have as standard is a big flaw in Prestashop. I really cannot understand why the developers don't seem to grasp this.

 

Why would any business want to 'lose' an extra few percent from their profit by having to sign up to a PSP and have their customer go 'off-site' to make payment when they already have a Credit card processing facility in their shops or offices. I have asked this question before and still not gotten a response from anyone at the Prestashop team.

 

Prestashop must be losing potential uers in their droves due to this one 'omission'.

 

Don't get me wrong - I think Prestashop is a great cart but this lack of basic functionality does need addressing.

@ukbaz - I'm not sure I agree. Most online retailers I shop with do the capture and authorisation in real-time (including 3D Secure) these days. It's a cost of doing business online and can be used as leverage to increase customer confidence and hence sales.

 

I think the original poster is looking for a solution whereby the customer does not have to leave the site, with the authorisation and/or capture performed in real-time. There are obviously PCI implications to this (often ignored).

I'm also interested in a basic offline credit card module. It's what we always use and I really like PrestaShop but that's an important feature.

You might want to take a look at Tomer's offline CC module --> http://www.presto-changeo.com/en/payment-modules/65-offline-credit-card.html. It is a paid module but well worth the $50.
