Issues with product descriptions

I have been searching through the forum and I have not found anything regarding my issue.

 

I can normally add the new product in the catalogue, but when I want to add text in a short description and description boxes, the text remains plain. I can make it bold, italic, put in the special charachters, but none of it is not working. Everything stays plain as soon as I hit Save button.

 

At Short description box I cannot even make blank lines between paragraphs.

 

I tryed in IE, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome, but everything is the same. Please, any help would be appreciated very much.
