d9studios
I'm sorry if this has been asked and answered before as I couldn't find a search function (been a long day!). When I try to setup a downloadable product it says "Your server's maximum upload file size is: 2M". How do I increase that? I need to set the limit to something like 50Mb as most of my files (graphic designs) are in the 20 - 50 Mb range. Also, is there any way to upload the files via FTP and tell the Back Office to use the FTP uploaded file? I hate uploading things via the web because I never know how much longer it's going to take or things time out. Thank you for any help. I really want to be able to use PrestaShop (love it so far!) but if I can't get this figured out, it's a deal breaker.
tomerg3
The upload limit is controlled by your server, you can contact your host and ask them how to change it (some host let you create your own php.ini file and set that value yourself. There are 2 modules that can help you upload files via FTP http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/53511-module-batch-downloadable-product-upload-files-to-your-server-using-ftp-and-assign-them-to-products-making-them-downloadable-or-attachments/ If you want to assign multiple files for one product (using attributes) see http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/104840-batch-downloadable-product-pro-upload-files-to-your-server-using-ftp-and-assign-them-to-products-by-attribute-combination/
