Then I went to list my first product and I get the unspecific error message which is talked about all over this forum. So, I delete and reinstall. Same problem... I delete and reinstall AGAIN... No fixI spend hours methodically going through each section, debugging, banging my head against the wall, etc.So, I finally start trying to add a product again, one little bit at a time. I saved again and again until I finally got the error message to show up. The problem appeared to be in the description. When I pasted it in, the error message came upon save. Delete the description, all is well.So, I think maybe it is too long, or I have an invalid character, or I have a database conflict, or there is errors in the code, or a problem with the WYSIWYG. Nope, no, not any of those.After way too much time I discover the problem. My very first item to post was the DVD Charlie Wilson's War. It is a movie about the Texas congressman whose efforts to prevent the Red Army from overtaking Afghanistan eventually led to the collapse of the Soviet Union while simultaneously fueling the rise of radical Islam (in a nut shell). The Problem?SOVIET UNION!When these two words are back to back in a product description I get the unspecific error. Soviet alone is okay, union alone is okay, USSR, Russia and any number of other far more offensive things are fine. I just cannot use the words "Soviet Union" together in any product description.Now, I do not know if this is some kind of weird Prestashop thing, or something with my database, or the freaking "Office of Homeland Security" spying on me, but it ate up six hours of my life!So maybe some of you try this.
