bluecats
Good morning everyone, I woke up and grabbed my coffee and began checking everything when I discovered a major problem with a store I host using prestashop. I'm trying to troubleshoot why the product details page for this particular site dies after the left sidebar loads. This was never happening before. Anyway I came here as I always do when I'm trying to fix something and I get the following error on your forum every time I try to search for anything: "One or all of your search keywords were below 2 characters or you searched for words which are not allowed, such as 'html', 'img', etc, please increase the length of these search keywords or choose different keywords." Guess I should have stayed in bed today

bluecats
It's http://parrotsafaritoyfactory.com/shop. Thanks for your help. I really was trying to report the search problem but any help is more than welcome! Thanks very much
Mike Kranzler
Hi bluecats, I just tried to access your website and it works fine for me. However, that may because I noticed that your URL you posted ended in a period (/shop.) rather than a forward slash. When you go from the homepage to the shop, it works fine as well. Is that the root of your problem? -Mike
bluecats
Hi Mike, No, I realized that when I typed in the web address that I added at period at the end. That was just a typo. The problem is when you go to view any of the products in the product page. It returns the header and left sidebar but the rest of the page won't load. I tried it from 3 different locations and have the same error.
bluecats
I just finally figured the problem. Another site administrator must have enabled smarty 2 instead of 3. I just changed it back and everything seems to be in working order now. Thanks for your help!
bluecats
As far as the search problem in the forum, that seems to be working fine now as well. How do I mark this thread as solved?
