Slow page Load issue

Hello,

 

I have problems with my online shop based on PrestaShop 1.2

Right now I have to wait for server response over 10s on pages with 2000+ products

I have tested this using Google Chrome tools.

Can anyone know where the problem is?

My server administrator told me that the problem is with PrestaShop queries to database.

Anyone knows how to optimize them?

Call me crazy (cue rimshot), but the website doesn't seem to be loading very slowly on my end. Are you still having this issue on your system?

i lower the quality on most of my images to speed up the loading

Well as someone who has never visited your site before, I can tell you that the dip in image quality isn't noticeable from the consumer perspective. I just took some time to browse deeper throughout your website, and there weren't any images where the quality was anything I would notice from a negative perspective.

 

Sometimes it can be hard to take an objective view on something you've worked on for so long, but I can tell you that as someone visiting your site for the first time, it never even crossed my mind that the pictures were anything but high quality.

 

And considering the size of your catalog, I think this was definitely the right move on your part.
