Create Module HTML

I have a doubt. I previously worked with joomla and joomla modules can be created with HTML code that each one needs and place them where you want easily.

 

My question is whether we can also create modules prestashop with HTML code that I want and publish it in the position you need.

Does anyone know how to answer the question I have?

If it's just static html you have two options.

 

Either code it directly into the smarty template file, or use a module like: http://www.ecartservice.net/free-prestashop-modules/addstuff-for-prestashop/

 

I do have another later version that's been enhanced slightly by a contributor but haven't uploaded it yet. I'll try and do that in the near future.
