Jack
My shipping charge is according to products and weight. For product A, it is a fixed cost $9.95 to ship, and for product B, it costs $11.95 for shipping. And product C, is according to its weight form $13.95 to $22.95 to ship.. How can I set the shipping charge? Can any one give me some idea?
netrover
I don't know the answer but I do think products should have an option to assign them to a shipping group.I have a similar problem that my client has free shipping after a certain cart value and anything under pays X amount carriage. He also needs certain products to be sent out as samples with carriage included.I can't work out how to do this but it sounds like we both need shipping groups per item or product. rocky
I have a similar problem that my client has free shipping after a certain cart value and anything under pays X amount carriage. Have you tried going to the Shipping tab and entering the certain cart value in "Free shipping starts at:"?

I have managed that bit and it is fine and also shows the value needed to be added to the cart for free shipping. It's the sample part that I don't know how to integrate. He sells ceramic tiles and wants his customers to be able to buy 5 samples with carriage included.
rocky
Hi netrover,You could add an attribute group called Sample with values Yes and No and add it to the products with samples. If you set No as default, you could set a negative price impact on Yes to reduce the price to the sample price. It would have to have the same shipping cost as the full size product though, but you could incorporate the different in shipping cost into the price. Otherwise, you will have to wait until shipping groups are implemented.Rocky
nutbuster
I am waiting on this as well...as free shipping is killing sales as it makes your prices seem higher when you have to add the shipping into them...nearly all my competation does not offer free shipping Prestashop 1.2.
