Slideshow on Black & White Theme (can you help)?

Hello.

 

I am using the Black & White theme and I like that it has the a Home Page Slideshow, but I can not seem to figure out how to remove the default images and put it my own.

 

I'm sure this must be basic, but I simply can't seem to figure this out.

 

Any chance someone knows how to remove the default images and put in my own images?

What theme are you using? send me a link and I'll see if i can locate it. or try firebug inspect element to locate image then find the path and follow it to folder or code location.

I never found a way to do this from the Back Office, either. I solved the issue by replacing the images in blackwhite/modules/editorial/images. Just give the new images the same names as the old ones.

 

If anyone knows how to adjust the timing on this slide show, I would love to know! I tried adjusting the timeout value in the jquery_002.js file, but it wouldn't work. Changing the speed of the transition from one slide to the next worked, but not the duration of each slide. I'd like it to be a little faster.

I would personally suggest you to get a standalone module, not one that's integrated on editorial module. (There are a lot of alternatives)

You can go with Nivo Slider (you can find it on prestashopic dot com) and it can be modified with ease.
