nob2b
When I click "add to cart" button, The browser alerts: "You already have the maximum quantity available for this product" and the products can't be added to cart. What does this mean? I checked the product in back office but don't see any wrong with it. How to deal with this?
nob2b
Seems nobody care about forums members' questions anymore. Where is the moderator?
curtdonohue
nob2b, I'm not really sure what the issue is, but it may have something to do with the quantity of your product that you have in stock versus the "Minimum Quantity" you set up in your product. What is the current quantity level of your product? What is the current "Minimum Quantity" you have set? Do you have it set up with combinations? What version of PrestaShop are you using? phrasespot
Seems nobody care about forums members' questions anymore. Before you start accusing other forum members of indifference, maybe you should think what is wrong with your question that it goes unanswered (though it has only been 12 hours or so since your initial post). In 15-20 minutes free time one may have to answer a few questions from other members, one may have to scan the forum titles to see if there is any one may help. Your post subject "What does this mean" does not mean anything when scanning post titles. A more suitable subject could be "Maximum quantity error: cannot add to cart". When/if a post with informative subject is answered successfully, the next user who is having the same problem could easily find the post and solve his/her problem too. So there would be an extra incentive to answer the post. You do not specify what version of Prestashop you are using, on what hardware, host. One must spend time asking more questions to solicit information instead of using time to answer a properly asked question. [Edited to add: as is the case with curtdonohue's post above] You do not specify a web address one may go and see the problem for him/herself. There is a website address in your signature but I doubt that is the shop on which you are using Prestashop, and also do not give any warning that address may not suitable for work place. Imaging me trying to help you, clicking on that link and my boss (if I had one), worse, a member of family (if I had one) looking over my shoulder. I suggest you read the thread starting with the post I linked above in its entirety, and start a new, proper thread asking your question. If you do, I will spend all the time necessary to solve your problem.
curtdonohue
phrasespot, You make excellent points. It is very difficult to help fellow members when limited information is provided.
nob2b
Thanks for the answers. Current version: PrestaShop™ 1.4.4.0 Setting: Back Office>>Preferences>>Products Minimum purchase total required in order to validate order:0 Display last quantities when qty is lower than:0 Max items in the comparator:0. Everything was ok before I updated to 1.4.4.0 version, I didn't change setting after the update. just imported the images by csv, and days later find that the products can't be added to cart with an alert: "You already have the maximum quantity available for this product". I searched this forum and find no answer. Customers can't place an order through shopping cart. So what can I do with it?
