curtdonohue
Hi, I'm trying to figure out if PrestaShop has any mechanism to allow for the selection of a specific carrier for a specific product. For instance, lets say we have two products: Product A and Product B. Let's also say that we have two carriers: Carrier A and Carrier B. Is there a way to associate Carrier A with Product A and Carrier B with Product B? I didn't see any way to do this in the Product Info page. Valérie Assetskaya
Hello, It is impossible, perhaps something like this will appear in 1.5 version, they promise to make the delivery to different addresses: one product can be sent to one address and the other to the other one, but if it appears, then the user will run it and not the admin. benjamin utterback
This is a feature that is available now at the Add-On store http://addons.prestashop.com/en/shipping-logistics-delivery-prestashop-modules/10[spam-filter]multiples-carriers-multiples-transporteurs.html This is a good feature to utilize when you have different products that need different carriers. Also, if you ever need somebody to custom code a module for your specific store, we have great freelancers that can do this job at an affordable price and supreme quality. Ehinarr
This is not very difficult to do, I suppose. You can create two hidden categories: Cat A and Cat B, for example, and bind Cat A to the Carrier A, and Carrier B to the Cat B, (by modifying the carrier module code). A good developer can do this.
