CraigMeade
I can open the index/php in preferences and enter the meta words for home. Indeed, I had done it early on. But they aren't appearing in the html when I view source. All I have at the top of head is this: <head> <title>Pioneer Handbooks - farming, cooking, growing, making, prospecting, medicine guides from the pioneers</title> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="application/xhtml+xml; charset=utf-8" /> <meta name="generator" content="PrestaShop" /> <meta name="robots" content="index, follow" /> <link rel="icon" type="image/vnd.microsoft.icon" href="http://www.pioneerhandbooks.com/img/favicon.ico?" /> <link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/x-icon" href="http://www.pioneerhandbooks.com/img/favicon.ico?" /> <script type="text/javascript">....etc That's where the meta keywords and meta description should be isn't it? CraigMeade
Thank you. I thought so. The tools.php looks OK though a bit confusing as my Duplicate URL Redirect module has inserted some code. So with my level of knowledge I can't easily compare it with a clean version of tools.php. tomerg3
The module (duplicate URL) doesn't make any changes to any files, you may have applied one of the tips / fixes from our site. Which version of PS are you using? Try to restore the original files instead of any changes you made (keep a copy of the changed file just in case), and see if they start working again. Thank you both. When I undid the change suggested at "Prevent Meta Tag Duplication" and reverted to an original Tools.php file the problem disappeared. Phew, all's well that ends well. I am using 1.4.4 and the Prestashop theme.
tomerg3
Those have not been updated for PS 1.4 yet (as some are not required anymore). I hope to have time to update that page in the next few weeks.
