Problem with product thumbnails on product page

Hi everyone.

 

I am in the middle of creating my Prestashop and I have come across a problem which I am not sure how to fix.

 

On the product page the first two thumbnails and appearing vertically instead of horizontally, and it seems to be an intermittent problem. As well as this, when pressing the right arrow to move along one thumbnail, the first press moves along two thumbnails instead of one. I have no idea how this has happened and if anyone can help I will be very grateful.

 

The shop is not live so I can not post a link but I have attached a picture.

Hi semb,

I'm confused as to what the issue is exactly. To me, I see 4 items, with a row of 3 followed by a single item in the 2nd row. What is the problem?

Hi, thanks for your reply.

 

There are more than 4 thumbnails for this product, there are 9 and there is only supposed to be one row of thumbnails (3 displaying at a time, that move along when you press the next arrow). If I press the next the thumbnails display correctly in a single line but for some reason the very last thumbnail is placing itself underneath the first as if there isn't enough room for it but there should be an infinite amount of room, that's the whole point of having next and previous arrows. I hope you understand this. I will attach a picture that shows what the thumbnails should look like (ignore the actual images, just the layout i mean)

 

 

 

Since posting I have also discovered that this problem only occurs in Safari.

Ah, I see. You're right, it does sound like a Safari-specific issue because Safari tends to have issues with JavaScript sliders.

hmm I see, might just to have to live with it then unless someone has a solution. Like I say it is an intermittent problem which may suggest that the code is actually correct, I'm not sure.
