shipping, uk postage charges, everywhere else shows as free???

Recommended Posts

At last I think I have grasped the shipping! I have set up 3 carriers, UK, Europe, and, Rest of the world. I have set up each one with the weight range, and a cost for each weight on each of the 3 carriers , asigned them to a zone, and asigned all countries to a zone. BUT when I practice buying in my shop, UK postage adds on fine, I can change country say USA, it shows 'Rest of the world postage' in the option , but says postage is free??? I have enabled them all, and really cant see what I have done wrong, this applies to all Europe and Rest of the world postage, UK works fine. So close here to having it all working correctly, but now feels so far away!!! anyone have an ideas? cheers.

I think it is still could be configuration issue.

shipping configuration is a little bit complicated, it related to many factors.

I suggest to check out following settings.

Free shipping starts at: (shipping tab)

Group access (shipping - carriers)

When you doing testing, in stead of changing address with one user account,

it is better to test with different user account and log out, clear browser caches every time when you switch different users.

Hiya, thanks for the reply! Well I made myself a new customer account on my website with an American address, and the postage works fine! Thanks for telling me to try that, or I would still be trying to alter postage, not realising that it worked. Only problem left to sort, is when filling in zip code it insists I just write 0000. Any ideas? not much left to sort now!! ( fingers crossed)

I am not sure what is your problem is. From version 1.4x, PrestaShop is validating the zip code format for most country. So you must input zip code in correct format. Otherwise it will not pass.
