aivars
Problem Nr 1 PayPal but not very important: Does anyone have a clue how to activate paypal enhanced checkout as default? Not just as random coincidence PayPal.com account>Profile > my selling preferences> Customise your Payment Page> • Enhanced checkout • Classic checkout You can see previews but cannot choose them Problem Nr 2 PayPal very annoying for me : When customer checkout using PayPal first is asked to enter credit cart details or login in PayPal account before seeing in PayPal site payment amount or thinks is paying for. (usually they would see it in top of PayPal page, just under logo and blue line ) After filling in billing details or login in PayPal to pay is presented with shopping card without item list or names - just customer can read “total items” and correct amount to pay .(I suppose for some reason my shop is not passing that info) Please note – I do not have any problems with API callbeck in Prestashop BO. New order notification is received and all post order process happens correctly. All money calculations and shipping charge is correct as set in prestashop BO. My settings I have SSL activated and working fine for my website. Prestashop – 1.4.0.17 PayPal module - v2.4 Shop location - UK My settings in PayPal module in BO • PayPal module is set on -solution - Payments by credit cards: CB , Visa, Mastercard and PayPal account • Option: none selected and all been tested • Settings - Payment type: direct and other fields filled in as required • Logos and personalization - Template chosen for PayPal Integral Evolution is selected on A PayPal.com account relevant settings >Profile > my selling preferences> Website preferences> Auto Return for Website Payments • Auto return – off • Return URL: empty • Payment Data Transfer (optional) --- off • Encrypted Website Payments --- on • PayPal Account Optional ---- on • PayPal Express Checkout Settings --- no annnnny sugggestions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mr_PayPal
Hello aivars, Sorry for the delay, but i was in vacation. Did you set the API ? Thanks, Alban
aivars
Yes, API signature in BO of prestashop is set. Payment is working. I receive money from customer and costumer after finishing to pay with PayPal can redirect back to my shop and has new order in his account. I receive notification in BO about order with no problems. The issue is more about customer checkout experience. After confirm order customer is redirected to PayPal and does not see details and names of products he is paying for.I repeat - customer payment is processed and calculated correctly if customer is OK to enter card details without purchase details and amount in advance. Its, I think, turning the most careful customers away from completing purchase with PayPal or maybe login in PayPal account. However if customer is lucky he gets PayPal enhanced checkout and at least can see amount of money to pay before filling up his billing details, but again not a product names or quantity. In Pypal.com account --- profile—my selling preferences – API access I had got my API credentials signature with Option 2 - Request API credentials to create your own API username and password. I did not change or modify -- Accept payments from your online shops before setting up APIs. Should I ? Now it is on Accept PayPal payments before API permissions or credentials are set up(You can complete API setup later) I changed to other option but no change. In Pypal.com account --- profile—my selling preferences -- Website Payment Preferences settings are: • Auto return – off • Return URL: empty • Payment Data Transfer (optional) --- off • Encrypted Website Payments --- on • PayPal Account Optional ---- on • PayPal Express Checkout Settings --- no So, I think my API is set!!!!! Because payments are received and all notifications in BO and in customer account are correct and good. Problem is in customer checkout not good enough experience. And that is the most important part and is all and single meaning of shopping website- to get customer to pay. SORRY FOR LONG EXPLENATION BUT ITS NEEDET AND IS ALL WHAT CAN BE GIVEN(NEXT WOULD BE SENDING MY API CREDENTIALS TO FORUM!!!!!!!) – I AM extremely, AT a great deal WILLING TO RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
