Removing currency selector

I only want US Dollars available in my store, but I can't figure out how to remove the currency selector from the top of the site, to the right of the logo.

 

Is there a module I can disable to do this or do I have to change it through the BO or the code?

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can disable currency in Back Office >> Payment >> Currencies

Hi,

 

To turn off the currency selector do the following

 

In the Back Office click "Modules" scroll down and click on the "Front Office Features" tab and then find "Currency block" and click "Disable".

 

But as jeevanos said above I would also suggest removing the other currencies if you only want to sell in dollars.

Alright, so I disabled all but Dollars in the Payment section of the Back End, and then deleted the module.

 

I had to disable the Currency module to make the change complete though.

for prestashop 1.7 

go to --module----then go to- "currency block" option in the installed menu  "disable" and refresh.

hope problem will be solve.
