VikG
Yesterday my website started giving me a 500 error and I could not access it at all. I thought it was my host as I had lots of trouble with them. I have moved and its still giving me an error. I have established I can access the sit via the IP Address/~cpanelusername/ if i put folder as ~cpanelusername/ in settings in back office. I also made a dyndns.com account and associated with IP and that worked fine. I can login to admin as long as i dont type the www at the front. If I take out the settings for SEO & URLs so its blank for website url then i can access the website also without typing www. (or if i just put the domain as the url without www.) Problem is all my google links are with the www. Any ideas why this might be? I use Cpanel and I havent made any dns changes for www. if you look the presta icon comes up top right: http://tinyurl.com/69ldmyz So i assume its finding the right website.
