Email alert status change

I have a little issue I cannot seem to solve.

 

Mailarts work fine. Shopowner gets emails when an order is placed or almost out of stock.

 

Client gets an email order confirmation.

 

Contact form works like a charm.

 

But when i change the order status to lets say payment accepted, nothing happens.

In statuses send email to client is checked. All the emails are in the correct folder, both html and txt.

 

Is there something I might try and reinstall? Which module/file is responsible for sending those mails? Can't seem to find it.
