Paypal Error 10729?

Not sure what this means.

 

When I look up the order in the admin, it says all the normal stuff (order successful, etc).

 

But the email that is generated has this in it.

 

 

PayPal response:

TIMESTAMP -> 2011-08-18T18:38:04Z

L_ERRORCODE0 -> 10729

L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Shipping Address State Empty

L_LONGMESSAGE0 -> The field Shipping Address State is required

L_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error

 

Any thoughts?

This an older issue, but it's popping up again.

 

Currently using prestashop Version 1.3.1.1

Using Paypal module 2.4

 

I don't know how to recreate it. I keep seeing on other's posts that it probably has something to do with people outside the country. (For instance Canada). However, when I create a test account and use their address as information, I make it all the way to the paypal screen.

 

Any tips, advice, etc would help.

 

I tried updating to Paypal 2.8 - but it didn't seem to work correctly (I posted in a separate thread for help with that).

The error implies that no shipping state was sent over to Payapl, make sure you are collecting those.

 

You may want to get the paypal version that came with your PS version.
