Jianming
Hello everyone, I'm designing my project right now - I am pretty confident on the design part thanks to a very nice theme Ive found, and my experience so far with Prestashop is pretty positive for everything else, so I am not that worried. Something that worries me a little bit more is user interface when it will get online. Because of the new policy of not showing VAT incl and tax exclusive prices together (about that, does anyone know why it's not possible why it used to be?), I am kinda hesitant towards the attitude I'd like to show to my beloved potential customers: EU ones will need to see the VAT price, rest of the world and US customers will need to see the tax exclusive one, which admits only two possibilities - either I get a little dirty in the coding (as Ive seen on other pages, as other people had this kind of problem before) in order to show both prices, but then I'd like to know why it's not possible anymore and if there is any security risk linked to this decision? And I fear it could become a little bit of a pain in the butt to keep psychological prices both in VAT Euros and Tax Exc.Dollars... - either, knowing that we don't need most of the logistical apparatus anyway, I "clone" my website, I put a welcome index and have the customer choose between a European and a ROW shop, which will allow me to customize further their experience without having them to register first. What would be your choice? If the second option seems viable, I'd like to know what would be the consequences when it comes to referencing, and if technically I could have both websites on the same server, even though they will probably have separated databases? Thanks in advance for your help and ideas! Best regards, MJM
