Images aspect ratio

Building my first site in Prestashop. Going well so far except for one annoying thing.

 

All uploaded images come through as either landscape or portrait, even thumbnails. So they end up with white borders if I set image size square. looks crap on the page with images all different sizes.

 

Anyone know a solution to this please, bar cropping all the images square manually in Photoshop.

 

You can see what i mean in the attached image

 

Also as you can see teh first line has 4 products, second line has 1 & so forth. Is this a css issue or a setting in Prestashop?

Hi eggdesign,

Personally, I think your images look great as-is, but if you do want them all cropped without having to use Photoshop, any image editing software should allow you to it easily, even MS Paint.

 

As for the way the images are laid out, I can't give you a good answer unless I take a look at your website for myself. Could you post your URL here so that we can take a look?
