html or news module for prestashop 1.4.3

Hello, I'm looking for a module with which one can add preview infos about new

articles. Someone who is not the administrator should be able to log into the

backend, type some text into an editor and upload 2 or three pictures without

having to know anything about html.

 

I took a look at the free module from Wozia "wcontent" since it seemd to suit my needs perfectly

(integration of images, working with an editor). Problem is, I don't get it to work. I tried it with Prestashop 1.3.6 but uploaded images won't show on the frontend. With Prestashop 1.4.3 not even

the editor is available, only a box for plain text shows up which says "module's

content".

 

Looking for alternatives, I found the Modern News module. Has anybody here have any experience with this? Does it work with Prestashop versions 1.4.xx?

 

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
