re-orderering cms articles

Hi

 

I have set up a module for short articles, tips and advice.

However, I cannot find away of putting them in a different order from the date they were written.

 

Can anyone explain how this can be done?

If you use the default CMS class method getCMSPages() you will get your articles outputted in the order you make/edit in your BackOffice by draging and dropping articles or using little black arrows.

Hi thanks for the reply and suggestion for a fix but I am not a technical person.

could I prevail on you walk me through the process in laymans terms.

 

I am running PS 1,3,2 and I don't see any arrows or similar to adjust their position.

Oh... I have not used PS 1.4.3 for a long time now, so I do not remember if those arrows were on this version. Your PrestaShop version is outdated and not supported, you should upgrade.

 

You can always selec those CMS pages from database by yourself, but if you do not know PHP and MySQL that will be a hard thing to do for yourself.

Thanks for your feedback - the problem is probably because I have an oldish version of PS -

 

At the moment I do not feel confident to upgrade through the "old" complicated process.

 

I will have to stick where I am for now.
