LEEH77
I want t oinstall this theme but this are the instructions i recieved after i unzipped: Installation - Having the package downloaded, extract the contents of the theme folder to your Prestashop installation root directory. - Patch your prestashop database with the provided source/dump.sql (only if you want sample contents) Warning! Patching the database with our sql dump will remove your data, so please back it up before patching. - Log into Prestashop administration panel, go to Preferences → Appearance and select your theme in the Themes tab. I do not know where this root directory is. I am using a host, Host1Plus and i need some help on changing my theme. thanks
phrasespot
- Having the package downloaded, extract the contents of the theme folder to your Prestashop installation root directory.I do not know where this root directory is It is the topmost directory of prestashop where all the prestashop related files live. It may be within a higher level directory called www or public_html or www_root or www_home etc. Within the prestashop installation root directory you will find, (amongst others), following files/folders for example -classes -config -... -404.php -address.php -... However, there is a theme import/export module. You may find it easier to use this module to import your theme (assuming you are using a version that supports this module). Go to Back Office > Modules and install "import/export a theme" module if not already. Then go into configuration for the theme to import the theme (self explanatory). Once it is imported it is a matter of applying the themes in Back Office > Modules > Themes. Before doing anything else make a backup of existing installation including database. Also you may want to make sure that the theme is validated for your version.
