How can I add images using bulk uploader?

Hello,

What exactly do I have to include in the CSV sheet in the IMAGE Variable in order for presta shop to load the image into the product?

The example provided in WIKI does not include an example for images. An example would be greatly appreciated!

You place the images into a folder on your ftp then create a category give the product picture an id and then the image location CSV should look like this

for eg, upload images into images on ftp

ID IMAGE LOCATION CATEGORY

2 http://www.yoursite.com/images/test.jpg All Items

That means we have to make more than 3 types of JPG file: small, large, thickbox etc. and upload to FTP folder ???

You don't have to upload them to your server at all, just add the full url to the image field in your csv file and separate multipule images with a comma (default image should be first).

Currently there is a bug in the import that stops the import function linking the images to the new product id, to get around this bug you must add a product id field to your csv file.

There are loads of messages on the forum concerning csv files and the import function, you just need to search for them.

This is one of my sites, it was fully populated with csv files, and the images were taken from the suppliers website, by the import function.
